Well educated people are usually more concerned for the environment and more aware of the expense of maintaining a larger vehicle. Also, they usually have better jobs and can afford hybrids and decent economical vehicles.

Smarter people tend to look at the "big picture". They aren't trying to impress anyone with a huge "gas pig" of a car. They do not feel the need.

I don't think this for all less educated people.
Less educated, maybe their family's finance can't effort them to a higher learning, so they decided to go out to the society and work for food. And so, years later, they're 'educated' , learn from their living from the society, so when they build up their own business, they have more powerful tools and skills, and so they desire a big car, dude.
Yet, so people are lucky, running a business is like a general knowledge to them, so they start off their business without study in school, coll, Uni or whatsoever. Yet they don't think too much, when they feel that's the way, they will lead their head to it, without thinking too much and refer back to the text book. They lead the way, not the text book.

Bigger cars are older cars. Older cars are cheaper cars. Less educated people make less money, therefore they can only by cheaper cars which happen to be bigger cars. See. It is a simple problem in deduction.

I don't know. Maybe because more educated people spend so much time going to school and less time actually working that they cannot afford anything but those tiny 4 cylinder cars.

I've never noticed that. However, with the price of gas per gallon (and larger cars typically requiring more fuel) the intelligent consumer will purchase and drive a smaller auto.

I don't know, but here is a joke:

One day a mouse was walking by a swamp and he heard an elephant crying out, "Help, help, I'm stuck, someone please pull me out." So he ran and got his Ferrari and told the elephant to grab it and pulled him out. The elephant said thanks, of course.

A few days later the elephant was walking by the same swamp and heard the same mouse yelling, "Help, help, I'm stuck in the swamp, please pull me out." So the elephant ran over and told the mouse, quick grab hold of my penis, and I'll pull you out. It worked, and the mouse said thanks a lot man, that was amazing that you could do that with your penis.

And the elephant said, "If you have a really big penis, you don't need a Ferrari."
