the cowboys came within 4 points of beating the steelers in that years superbowl. I never saw a defense as intimidating as the bears 85'. the steelers never did scare me. Sweetness,Willie Gault,McMan,on offense against Franco,Bradshaw,Blier, Swann. I think Buddy Ryan would have stopped the steelers in their tracks. I don't see Pitt scoring over 10. Final = Bears 17, Steelers 9

The 85 Bears probably had the best defense ever. The Steelers were a dynasty with a well rounded attack. I think this would be a defensive struggle with the 75 Steelers winning 17-14.

The Steelers of 1975 never had the vicious defensive mind of Buddy Ryan design the 46 Defense! The 1985 Chicago team would run rough shot over the Steelers with their swarming defense and some running back named Walter Payton.

...Did somebody say Golf was a sport? If they hit eachother with the clubs for missing puts then it would be a sport...
I don't know who would win, how many players are still alive and/or able to play from the 75 Steelers? I made a joke....hehe

you can't compare eras..the 85 bears were decidedly bigger and faster than the steel curtain d of the 70's..the ravens of 2001 were faster and stronger than those bears of 85..the sign of the times..however...no defense dominated their era as the bears did by overpowering..the steelers had more longevity..which is a great point...but the 85 bears were the most POWERFUL UNIT..
advantage BEARS
