It's more natural for women to cheat than men, because they're more emotional and fall in love faster. They just had to cover it up or not do it in the past because they couldn't support themselves. That's why statistically women cheat more than men now(although it's a negligible difference and has only been a recent thing). Now women have an incentive to cheat because they get to sleep around, get the house, and the kids. And the guy gets nothing.
My point is that people are who they are and it's a matter of belief and character(as opposed to giving in to animalistic urges).

If we got story of Solomon, who have more than 1,000 wives/concubines combined, God did not disapproved it. What God did not want is the way Solomon changed his 'faith' with Him. Remember that his wives were princesses/queens of different countries which were of different religions. Some Prophets also have more than one wife.
We cannot see in ANY Scripture (even one) a prophetess, and that have more than one husband...
