I dont really remember it quite well but I think there were some aliens too. The airplanes and motorcycles adapted to the body of the rider turning them into weapons. any names?

It was certainly Robotech. Robotech was actually 3 separate Japanese anime series re-edited and overdubbed to create a single epic storyline. The first two series used were related; the last had nothing to do with the others. The names of the series were Super-Dimensional Fortress Macross, Super-Dimensional Cavalry Southern Cross, and Genesis Climber Mospeada (that last had the motorcycles, the others had Veritech airplanes).
