The Miami Dolphins will be a hellofa football team next year. They came on strong at the end of the year, have a tough defense and a solid running game with Ronnie Brown, who has proven every bit he is first round running back. Nick Saban is one hell of a football coach. If Daunte Culpepper gets healthy, look for him to shine. He finally has some pass protection and a running game, and good coaching. Three things he was missing ever since Dennis Green left Minnesota.

The Dallas Cowboys could be another team, although they aren't really flying under the radar. If TO gives them one year like he did with the Eagles they will be making a lot of plays.

Arizona Cardinals play in a weak division and Edgerrin James will give a lot of balance to their offense. If they shore up their defense they could compete with Seattle for the division since the other two teams in that division are pretty weak. Long shot at a wild card, but they will get people's attention this year.

Believe it or not the Houston Texans should surprise some people this year. They improved their defense substantially in the draft and free agency, but have some weaknesses in the secondary. They will benefit mostly from some new blood in the coaching and some creativity on offense that was definitely needed by Gary Kubiak. Look for 8 wins from the Texans, which will be a substantial improvement. They really do have some players and David Carr is not as bad as he appeared to be last year. He struggled in a poor offensive system, that was easily predicted and scouted by opposing teams.

The Saints are going to be pretty good, especially if they can get Reggie Bush signed. They have some weapons on offense, but they have had extremely poor QB play. With McAlister and Bush giving them a strong running game, they needed a QB who would stop making stupid plays and get one who can manage the game and make accurate throws under pressure. Enter Drew Brees. Their new coach will be one to look out for.

I'm done.

I hate to assert it yet i love the Lions to win the NFC North this twelve months. With Kitna decrease back and thoroughly knowledgable of Martz's device, alongside with some truly powerful guns in Jones, Bell, C. Johnson, and Roy Williams, it will be hard to stop the Lions offense. contained in the AFC i'd be watching the Browns pretty heavily. Charlie Frye replaced right into a competitor beforehand and had a hearth lit less than him even as Quinn replaced into drafted. search for giant issues from Frye this twelve months. Now that the O-line would not look 0.5 undesirable, the operating pastime with Jamaal Lewis will open up for wide video games from Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow. it is not any longer too far obtainable to foretell that the Browns will make the playoffs this twelve months with a 10-6 record.

The clebeland browns are definitely the sleepper as the docs make sure they have plenty of sleeping pills and pain killers to keep them in a fantasy world that they belong in the NFL. They will sleep there way right to a basement finish and then everybody can say wait till next year - yeah right !!!!!!

AFC I'd say Baltimore. They've definitely upgraded their O and if the D comes back even part way they'll be tough.
NFC I'm going with Arizona. Big upgrades on O, good RB in James, maybe the best pair of WR in the NFC..all depends on that OL of theirs.
