My belief and experience is that many Orthodox Jews, generally well educated, successful and conservative by nature, favor the Republican party. They walk to Temple every Sabbath, in the street, in memory of a 1938 Nazi edict forcing them to do so.

Reformed Jews, often self-styled as "check-off" Jews because that's what they check off on questionnaires like "Christmas and Easter Christians", generally favor the Democrat party and think that Michael Moore is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Which do think is the better representative of their religion?

shared beliefs. though m any of all faiths getting tired of Dem's not having a backbone anymore. i hear there's real chance of a third party this time around.
a safety net of social and educational programs actually helps support the middle class and our ability to compete globally.. somethings are complex those without masters work in politics/pub admin. usually don't get exposed to. Jews as a whole have suffered much discrimination even here. Dem's stuck up for them here and abroad.
republicans tend to sell a line to the middle class and actions benefit certain groups and the wealthy. not all Jews vote Democrat not all African Americans can dance . but if you look at the big picture the states with the most highly educated don't vote republican.

That is changing as the Democratic party continues to push aside the values it once stood for. As for the Democratic party helping the poor and the GOP standing for the rich like someone mentioned...how poor is the Kennedy clan? The Dems DON'T help the poor, they want the poor to be dependant on the social programs and pork projects that they keep pushing around. They don't help anyone. Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
As for the GOP, all we want is for you to get a job, we don't mind a helping hand, just not continuous handouts.

Is that a racist statement? Not sure.
Actually, Jews, can't vote in the United States. Now Americans...they can vote here. And it seems to be, that according to the last two elections damn near half of Americans vote Democrat. So I guess the bigger question is, considering everything, why isn't the other half?

It's hard to withdraw from the party that you voted for. Same reason as to why Christians still vote for the Democratic Party, a party now that wants to persecute churches.

Because the democrats in this country do the same thing to the Jews as they do to every other ethnic group for a vote...they fill their heads full of "champange wishes and lollipop dreams" and then crap all over them after an election !!

Because the Jewish faith promotes social justice and helping the poor, which are values that tend to be reflected in the democratic party. The Republican party focuses more on money and the wealthy and the democratic party focuses more on helping the poor.

In the last election 74% of Jewish Americans voted for John Kerry and 25% for Bush. However according to this chart 25% is 6% better than in 2000 election. It's a sign that Jewish population in America is beginnig to shift to the right.

have not a clue as to what he's speaking approximately. I voted for Obama once you think approximately that McCain is previous and Palin is a nut. As for the term "white guilt" It refers to a guy or lady that throws themselves into racial problems on the behalf of minorities in an severe way. commonly the guy has a prior historic past of racial prejudice that they sense sorry approximately. very comparable to a sinful guy or lady turning out to be a born as quickly as greater christian .... best to over the suitable Christianity taking on their character. it fairly is a uncommon element, yet isn't inconceivable. The accusation that each and each whites that voted for Obama did so as a results of fact of "white guilt" stems from the accusers very own prejudice.

The same reason anyone else votes Democratic...they share the same beliefs that other Dems do. It's not some kind of conspiracy or anything.
