Heck no!!! He is just having an on and off again mental slump. These players especially at this level and with a team like the Yankees have more stress on them than you can imagine. Didn't anyone remember the Grand Slam he had recently against the Mets? He is a terrific hitter. He is working on his one problem at Third Base...his footwork. He is getting coaching for that too. Remember, that is a brand new position for him to be playing. All his team mates like him and respect him and they get along well. Joe Torres always sticks up for him. If Joe is not worried, neither am I. Joe is no dummy lol. Give the guy a break already! All players during their careers have the yipps lol. They mostly all manager to over come them too. Cripes, Yankee fans have always booed their best players when they had problems lol. Giambi and Jeter included. That's just Yankee fans. Nothing new there. lol Frankly, I think if the Yanks didn't have so many good and very needed players out on the injured list like Matsui and having pitching problems, A Rod would not be getting so much negative attention and the focus would be else wheres.

Be serious. The man makes $25 million a year. That is more than the payroll of two or three whole teams. The Y*nkees would have to eat $15 million or more of his salary just to dump him. There is no way anyone, even Steinbrenner would do something that stupid. So no, the Y*nkees have to keep A-Rod.
I am so grateful the Red Sox did not succeed in trading for him from Texas in 2002.

I think he should just find a new position. Like the outfield. Wait there aren't any positions open since Steinbrener is so greedy.
See, no matter how much money you have it won't always work out. Alex had no problem playing for a last place team in Texas. He won an MVP. Send him to another team in a rebuilding mode, like the Pirates or Royals, let him rebuild there. Then see how he does.

No, the Yanks shouldn't trade A-Rod he's just having trouble with his mechanics rightg now, he even knows that, he's got some of the best coaches out there, once he shakes this slump he will be back to his good ol MVP form.

A-Rod has really brought nothing to the Yankees, so YES I Say let them trade him, where he can not worry about pressure. NY is a tough town to play Ball in !

No, I think the Yankee fans should stop booing him.
Nobody's perfect and if they want the Yankees to have a great season, they have to stop getting into his head like that.
Besides, it's cruel.
I Love My A-Rod!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go Yankees!!!!!!!!!!!!
