yes but you have to sand them and prime them first. Search on paint formica cabinets. I looked into this recently. It's alot of work and I decided against it, becasue my cabinets have a lot of ridges and it would just not be the right look. If yours have a simple design, it might be worth a try.

Sure! Due to the very slick surface of formica they will have to be sanded and primed first. I suggest Kilz primer followed by Kilz color coat, both available at local Walmart. These products work as well or better than anything on the market and doesn't cost as much as hardware store products.

Sand to roughen surface for new paint to have a tack to attach to.

Wash with TSP to remove all grease or dirt as paint won't stick if not chemically clean.

Probably best if you check with local paint store for their recommendations as to primer and paint to use.

It's a lot of work and spray application is best for a smooth finish.

Might work with those smaller foam rollers.

Haven't tried it but they now have a spray paint for plastic outdoor furniture. White and several bright colors. If it's good for plastic, it should be good for the formica which is in essence a plastic.

Good Luck

the primer KILZ was developed fro this. Paint it on , let dry 24 hrs. and paint your new favorite color and it wouldn't hurt to put a clear polyurethane on top so you can scrub it when you need to without having to worry.
