Help me out Girls?

Question

Alright all you women out there, here is a question I have wanted to ask for a long time.
What do girls prefer?
A metro-sexual type guy? one that takes the same care about himself that a women does. Like for instance: dyed hair, petcures, manicures (sP?), eats properly, clean shaved, fusses over messes, clean freak. Im not saying all those qualities but some of them.

Or a more of an average guy. Clean (not to the point of wierdness), drinks beer, eats burgers. Despite working out and have great overall muscle has a beer gut to go along with. Doesn't clean everything. normal hair, mabey has a bit of scruff. Wears normal clothes like a golf **** some days, t-shirt and jeans others.

Im not saying that guys have all these qualities, but I mean everyone knows what im talking about. Do girls like the Average guy, or the Pretty boy, or Metro-Sexual (Guido/Gino) kinda thing?

For Example me, Im 6 feet, 198lbs. I play college football in Canada. I got the scruff, short hair, beergut.

So if everyone thinks average, why is it that all the guys in the clubs get all the play?
all these guys who are soo metro-flaming get some good looking girls, but are the girls just as shallow as them? Is that what it is?
But why is it that all the guys that women like in hollywood and stuff are the pretty boys?

Hey! Stop trying to change me, lol I am who I am. Im in great shape, I play football and basketball (football in the college level, basketball rep) I work out a lot. But when you party and drink you get a belly lol. Its unstopable. Why don't you just love me the way I am.... :'(

It's easy to pick one or another for the sake of a question like this, but in real life, what makes a difference is the guy himself. If a guy is all polished and groomed and comfortable with himself that way--hey, that's hot. If he's all polished and groomed and uncomfortable, that's a turn-off.

The same goes for Joe Average. If he's happy with himself, secure and confident, that shines through and that's what most women like.

If you're unhappy with your beer gut, work on getting rid of it. If you play college football, I'm sure you have access to a gym. If you're cool with it, then, hey, be cool with it and that will get you more ladies than anything else.

You ask a great question. I used to think I liked guys who were a certain "type," but after a few years I realized that what I really like and want is someone who is kind, honest and looks at the world the same way I do. I hope you find a girl like that. That being said, the metrosexual guys tend to attract high-maintenance, self-centered snobs, and the regular guys like you tend to attract girls who have more than looks going for them. Good luck.

P.S. Being clean is always a big plus. I would also suggest you either shave or grow something, and don't just let it be sloppy.

Well, prepare yourself for a variety of answers because different women like different types of men. I like the average man. He's down to earth and real. I got lucky and found mine and we've been married for 8 yrs. now. I don't like fussy men or pretty boys. They seem to be more concerned with how they look rather than paying attention to their woman and making sure she's happy and satisfied. I think you'll find that most women prefer the average man.

I think we all prefer a mix of both. No one likes a slob even if he IS manly, but If you're getting your nails done, not to be shallow or stereotypical... your girl may begin to question your sexuality.

I think it's the look of the metrosexual that's popular now, but I can bet you that any 'pretty boy' in hollywood right now enjoys watching the superbowl with a six pack in one hand and a burger in the other.

average.... i hate it when a guy takes as much time as me to get ready. i like a kind of guy who is clean but still has like a 5:00 shadow and also has kind of a bad boy kind of look. It would be wierd if i were to get a manicure or pedicure with my man. He also has to act manly ya know what im sayin. He also has to be involved in something athletic. I also don't like it if a guy has dyed hair because he shouldnt really worry about what color his hair is ya know cause that's kind of a girly thing. hope i helped!

I like a guy that dresses decently(shops at stores like A+F or Holister.....I like the preppy style). you sound good from what you described, but one thing I can't stand is the beer gut!!!- If you are gonna go out and party/drink you should exercise and work out so you don't get a beer gut! I also like a guy with some muscle, not some weakling who is like my shopping budy and all metro

nicely, judging via how she's all knotted up in her relationships (2 boyfriends on a similar time) she might say specific and in simple terms use you to cheer up and then unload you. i might say it fairly is slightly a grey area. yet once you particularly think of she's that beautiful and you do not innovations what happens later then yep you're real 2 possibly 3 weeks and your golden. the different one will probable get jealous, yet once you men do not talk she'll recover from you and pass on and you will on no account have that possibility lower back... which might suck if she truthfully is that particularly :L You gotta choose for which lady you like greater. as a results of fact in case you opt for one your gonna pass over out on the different. the dancing element: i in my opinion think of that must be fairly lovable xP yet some females may well be like.. wtf?? i assume it relies upon on the way you pull it off - like in case you're an exceptionally humorous not awkward guy you're golden with that. yet once you come back of cheesy it particularly is game over. desire i ought to help :P

i would prefer the average guy. There is nothing wrong with taking care of your self like washing and shaving and working out some, but i don't want to worry about my boyfriend stealing my beauty products. some things are beyond the line of male. don't dirft to far.
