I'm going to be in Miami beach this August 10-29th..Do you think it's a good idea to be there at that time (Hurricanes season)?
Is it a big chance to hit at that time?

hello, i have lived in miami since 1974. the hurricane season is from june 1 to nov 31. what are you going to do stop taking vacations for six months because of hurricane seasobn. there is plenty of warnings, the hotels are well equipped, if not the city has a great escape route and places to stay. if you are going to paranoid, i would be more about the plane ride, car ride than whether a hurricane is going to hit or not.
right now the topicals are calm. and miami looks awesome. its hot and the nights are awesome for partying.

There is no reason not to go to Miami 10 - 29 August because of the threat of hurricanes. The odds of a hurricane actually threatening the region in any two week period are really rather slim. Even so, with current warning systems and contingency plans, you would not be at risk unless you actually chose to be.
Go ahead and enjoy your vacation.

Go and enjoy your holidays.
The chances of a Hurricane hitting Miami between those dates are limited, and the news and papers will warned you if there are any chances of a Hurricane coming in Florida's direction.
Enjoy the Beach
