Americans aren't hateful. The American people give more aid to the world than most countries combined. Speaking for myself, I'm tired of 3rd world nations trying to create conflict. Venezuela for example. Iran for another. I would love very much to see my tax dollars not go towards the 3rd world but rather used on our own people and military. Americans are so "hateful" that we opened our check books to the Tsunami victims of Indonesia. Many were the same people that were dancing in the streets after 9/11. I believe this statement sums it up. If anyone doesn't like America, leave... Try Canada.

Based on your Nic I assume your are in India... And since India is now the home of most companies customer service centers the the only time you people get to talk to a real American is when we are upset!.. Having to try to explain a problem to someone who does not have a command of the language and is not empowered to fix anything Would make even the Pope hateful...
The President has nothing to do with your question.

Because Liberals are unhappy if the president is Conservative. They want everything perfect. If they don't have a liberal president, they hate America. On the other hand, when Bill Clinton was president, conservatives still liked America, and supported their president, even though he sucked.
Also, Americans have one of the best countries in the world, but are still unhappy. They want more, but they don't realize that they have it better than most of the world.

We aren't a hateful group. We're just tired of being blamed for everything that goes wrong in the world. Tired of being asked to bail people out, then being criticized for it by everyone else.
We would love to be able to sit here at home with all of our boys in other countries (defending their rights) home with us. If the rest of the world could quit fighting, we wouldn't have to get involved in these 'incidents'. And if the world wants to blame us and criticize us, fine, but when the crap hits the fan in those countries...don't bother calling us to come and help out.

Don't let our one stupid president supposedly speak for the entire nation, he would love to think that everyone is backing him with everything that he does but the fact remains that there are tons of people that are dissapointed that he is still in office and hasn't been impeached.

I think you mean 'Why do people hate Americans?".
Same reason the world hated Germany for so long...we have a rotten leader and that image is unfortunately projected onto us citizens.
I didn't vote for him!

Some maybe, but not all. I'm not hateful. The president isn't to blame for how people act or their hateful attitudes. People individually choose how they want to be.

Americans are being hated because of the aggressiveness of their government in intervening in the affairs of other states like invading Iraq and supporting Israel.
