Sure, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.... But it also really gets on your nerves! I have a friend who's always asking me where I get my this or that and comes in the next day wearing almost the exact same thing.
Although you must be pretty upset because uniqueness is a right we should all have, do you really not want to be friends with her anymore over a stupid issue like this?
When she's wearing something of her OWN style, compliment her on how good it looks.

Ending a friendship sucks, but sometimes it has to be done. It sounds like this friend is annoying and clingy. Here is what I would say: "I can't be friends with you anymore. I feel like you need to be your own person, and being around someone who copies me all the time is smothering."
Keep in mind that she is copying you because she likes you and thinks you look good, so please be kind to her. If you really do end your friendship with her she will be devastated and you will feel like a jerk for a while until you get over it, so make sure this is what you really want to do.

Imitation is the best form of flattery! But I agree I have had the same problem. 9 times out of 10 they actually don't even like your style they really like you so be straight forward with them. They'll eventually get it. If not, end the friendship asap!

Consider it a great compliment and who cares if someone copies you! My neighbors copy everything I do! They had their carpet done the same, I bought a Yukon then they did, etc. I consider myself lucky to have such style that someone would want to copy me!

I think that you should consider it a complement. Perhaps that is what made you friends in the first place, you probably have a lot of similarities. Sometimes, you have to consider the options.....a good friend is hard to find, perhaps it is something else underlying the reasoning behind your wanting to discontinue your friendship....what ever your reason think it through thoroughly.

just tell her straight out stop coping me, and that i don't want you to be my friend anymore, and if she is the kind of girl that slaps and hits slap and hit back until it is over. whatever you do don't feel sorry for her, some people will do that because they think if they start crying and making a big seen about it then you will take it back and if you don't well then it will embarrassed you, if she starts to do that just walk away
