I'd say so. Every Aussie I've met has been pretty chill. I kind of envy you guys for having pretty much the same ideals as we do but are able to be under the radar and stick to your own stuff instead of worrying about the rest of the world's problems. Also, people don't hate you guys as much as they hate us. Oh well, screw em. You can't please all the people all of the time. Atleast most people know the majority of us don't like Bush so that's a little redemption there.

Aussies are definitely liked by Americans. Not only is the accent great, there's that allure that you're all decedents of criminals! And Americans love bad boys...Also, you gave us INXS (the real one), Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman, thanks for that!! OK, Crocodile Dundee may not have been the best representation of your culture, but from everyone I know that's ever visited, you have one might fine country there!!!

I have never met an aussie but I do love Nicole Kidman for as entertainment in Movies.

In Australians, we see ourselves: tough b*stards, making a living in a wild and unyielding country. Never mind that there are Australian cites just as modern as any other; we like to think of sheep ranchers out riding their fences, looking for damage to repair, or bold adventurers in the bush.
We see you as part Crocodile Dundee, part Steve Irwin, part Michael Hutchence. We think the girls are just as rough and ready as the guys.
And, we get all happy and warm at the inimitable accent.
There's only one thing we don't grasp about Australians: why DID you tie that kangaroo down?
