Any year if you offer me A.J. Pierzynski I'll take him. Piazza is good and all but he is getting old. Pierzynski is still at his prime. A prolific caught stealing average. 62% compared to Piazza's 8%. He has great comunication with his pitchers. Give me Pierzynski.

well in the past it would be a no brainer...piazza...but im not really a fan of either anymore...i like the johnny bench answer...greatest catcher of all time in my opinion but since he doesnt play anymore might as well take the best defensive catcher going right now...yady
