It depends how old you are, if your young, then maybe call each other every night and get to know each other a little more. But if your over 18 move out of your house or just take a little trip up there to visit him. Your dad is just doing what he thinks is best for you. Good Luck!

Tell your dad about your feelings and it is the only solution. Maybe he will consider your situation.
