Past searches seem to have a permanent residence in your computer and pop up whenever you enter letters for a new search.
I want to remove them selectively. Is there a way? Also how to remove past visits to sites from your internet explorer toolbar, without removing history?

1. With Internet Explorer, go to the VIEW menu and pick INTERNET OPTIONS.
2. Then click on the tab that says CONTENT.
3. Then click on the button that says AutoComplete.
4. Then click on the button that says. CLEAR FORMS

Have fun.

Maybe Microsoft will GET BUSY and do some Innovations and add a CLEAR HISTORY button on the TOOL bar where it would be a bit easier.

HEY BILL GATES, this is our gift... get busy. (thank you for your recent generosity)
