Actually neither Americans or English speak funny. They speak as they are supposed to by the area they grew up in. We are all different from state to state and county to county - so why on earth should we not be when we go country to country. You can't make a statement like that about not all of us speak the same no matter where we come from. As per the mustaches and killer bunnys with fangs - your imagination has run wild.
