i need to change of place the alternator, but if I put the alterntor in other place change the direction of pulley, works the alternator?

It will not matter....alternators create A/C so it can turn either direction and still operate correctly. The only difference is the fan on the alternator. I wouldn't worry too much about that. Good luck.

If you are speaking of the altenator actually running in reverse of it origninal direction-No. If you are moving your alternator and the direction of rpms changes, say from clockwise to counterclockwise, or visa versa, then what you really want to do is purchase an alternator that runs in the direction that the pulleys will now take it. They do make reverse direction alternators, you will just need to speak with someone who actually knows the difference.

Not 100% sure in auto alternators, but in general some of the shafts are designed to only engage and turn the rotor in one direction. The cooling fan is also designed for one direction. You'd have to check on your specific alternator as to what it would take, if capable at all.
