try the following:

start> control panel> sounds and audio devices.

You can change you settings here. or you can right-click sound and audio devices icon and then select "create shortcut" . the shortcut most likely will be on the desktop. if it is in the control panel, just click and drag down to the task bar and place it there. that should work. follow the same procedure in case the sound and audio devices shortcut is on the desktop.

That should resolve your concern.

if all those things are not working properly just go the motherboards official web site and download the sound driver

go to find files programs and search volume you should find it. or look in start/programs/accessories/entertainment/volume control
