Positive thinking is incredibly powerful. Laughter is even more so! Positive thinking can boost the immune system! There was a study done at a children's hospital where they were shown funny movies. After they viewed them, a sample of their blood was taken to evaluate any fluctuations. Their immune cells (a variety of cells) had increased. The laughter (positive thinking) was having a positive effect on them! Positive thinking cannot CURE an illness, but it can make it more bareable. So dream as if you'll live forever and live as if you'll die today! LAUGH!

Not very. It doesn't actually enable you to do anything more than you already can, and it can be extremely harmful, or even deadly, if taken too far.
What it *does* do is allow a person to ignore the threat of failure and the depressing existensial gloom that comes with living, and focus instead on getting things done.

positive thinking is having positive attitudes in whatever situation you are in!so it is so powerful that it can always make your life great!

I think that it would improve you self-esteem, work ethic, general attitude, and much more - if you truly believe it will. Some people do go overboard on it though: "I am so beautiful - there is no one in the world as great as me."
