heard the "after September" song by Green Day today-don't know the exact title, but I dig it...
I'm "classic rock"-oriented. My fave is the Doors' "Light My Fire", from their first lp in 1967. It was their 2nd single, and NOT written by Jim Morrison (Robbie Krieger, lead guitarist, wrote it).
