Teaching Abstinance to teenagers is a nice thought, but in the practical world, it will never be the solution to teen age pregnancy. If you tell them not to, they're just going to want to more. Accept it and teach them how to do it safely and use birth control correctly. Why are we so hung-up that teaching birth control is bad? They may do it more, but a least they'll do it safe.

Ugh, I remember being taught abstinence in school and later on that night, I would be, well, you know. And that was awhile ago and today it's even worse. Kids at such young ages are doing it, I watched the Tyra Banks Show and some kid said he received oral sex at the age of 8. I wanted to throw up. It's quite obvious there would be less teenage pregnancies if birth control was taught as another option. I also think less teenagers would be having sex. People are becoming much more comfortable with sex and it has come to be so casual when it really shouldn't be. Soon people are going to forget what love is.

As long as its consensual, and responsibly handled, sex is a good thing. I
