If there are kids involved then at minimum 15-20,000/year/kid plus if she does an excellent job of house work, paying the bills, etc. than every couple of months I think she deserves a 10% raise.

Find out what the going rate is for the following then that is what you would pay the wife/husband and then in turn charge her/him for the utilities she/he uses and her/his portion of the rent:
Cook/cheif
Janitor/houskeeper
Laundry attendant
Accountant (if she/he takes care of the bills)
Waitress/waiter
Hostess/host
Companion/Hooker
And then whatever else that they do.

if he works out side the house..and she sits at home all day?
she should still pay HIM for rent, insurance,..etc
there is no reason for one to sit at home while the other works their butt of to support the both of them
