Why is it that? I mean, homosexuality; immoral behavior (especialy if it involves their own children), and on,and on,and on!! What does it take for a woman to finally say, "this is wrong, and I won't tolerate it or enable it anymore"???

As a Mom, you don't get a vote. "hey Mom, can I be Gay? Nope. Doesn't usually come up. "Mom, I got a Tattoo..." My 15 yr old hit me with THAT one this week. No vote for Me. Do I kick out my child that I love because he makes choices for himself that i wouldn't make for Me? ummm... (hang on!, I'm thinking!) Duh! No. Love is love. Moms separate ACT from Person. I can Love my child with all my heart... and really HATE what he's done... without "accepting" it. I've been telling him for the last two years that he can do what he likes ... as soon as he turns 18. But He did it NOW at 15. Tolerance? I can't afford the removal surgery. Enabling? I am a single Mom, and I work full time. There isn't a daycare to prevent stupid rebellious behavior in teenage boys. And He plays piano, guitar, tuba, football, soccar, Little League baseball, and feeds the fish regularly. He's popular, well liked by peers and teachers alike, good looking, and intellegent... and went out and got a tattoo last friday... while hanging out with a friend. Uncommon? Heck Yeah! But I still Love him. As for the rest. I'm a single Mom because I left and divorced my Ex the thrid time he hit me. (one hit is an error. two is in anger, three is Enough) I think your Question is flawed in it's thinking. Your looking at it wrong. Maybe you should ask why others Expect women to accept these things...?

Because love for children is unconditional. If you don't feel that way then I hope to God you don't ever have a family.
Women choose their battles wisely...perhaps more so than some men.
If you can't love something unconditionally then you have no right participating in the creation of another human being. Life doesn't come with guarantees.

Its not that women have more tolerance for the immoral and wrong, in fact women are usually more morally just (or have higher moral standards) than men, its just that we are more openminded and forgive more easily.

I think that women are just more easygoing and empathetic to everything. When it hurts someone they love, I think that is when we won't tolerate it anymore.
