Jet Li. Jackie Chan is much older, and the majority of his maneuvers are merely acrobatic. Jet Li would snuff out Chan in about 4 seconds.

Jacky Chan - he's got the experience, but then again Jet Li's got the size and age advantage.
Little known fact: Did you know that Jacky Chan was actually the star of a movie before Bruce Lee and that Bruce Lee only played a bit part in that movie? Figure out which one!!!

Jet Li because he was taught and raised in Shaolin temple.
He is more of a Kung Fu fighter while Jackie Chan brings more slapstick kung fu fighting.
Jet Li has won more competition than Jackie Chan and his style is diverse to win head to head. For a small Asian male, he could fight..

Jackie Chan. Remember martial arts teaches a person to fight intelligently. A sharp mind is your best weapon in a fight.. not youth.. not strength.. not speed. But the ability to use what you have wisely. Jackie Chan is only 9 years older than Jet Li but vastly more experienced in various forms of martial arts. He was adopted by his martial arts teacher as a child and endured very difficult and strenuous training growing up, including beatings. He obviously also has a strong background in acrobatics. Jet Li was also a young student of the martial arts and the youngest to win all around champion at the Chinese National Wushu championships in 1974. Both have a strong background in the martial arts, Jackie's being much more versatile and Jet's being much more of a formal training. Jackie also is very famous in his homeland for facing down the triad gangs who first tried to recruit him into their ranks when he was younger... and later when they tried to muscle their ways in to the movie business. He directly challenged them to confront him and he led rallies against them.
