I'm about half an hour into it and it is a bit dull so far. It is really beautiful, I love nature scenes.

I saw it at the theater. I am a 54 year old heterosexual and some of my friends were appalled. My response was " If that shocked you, you probably are not going to believe that I toke my mother with me...I also purchased the DVD. You really should see it on the big screen to do it justice. Those sheep looked like a waterfall the way they flowed down the mountain...Someone asked me how uncomfortable it was watching the male sex scene with my mother. It was just as uncomfortable as watching the male female scene!!!

It was a good story that could have been shown in half the time. Most of it was alot of scenery. Which was pretty but we dont need a whole movie of it. It was ok just not as good as everyone made it out to be.

I find it strange that the people who praise it comment on how it's such a beautiful love story.

There were lies and deception throughout that movie. And the respective wives were on the receiving end of much of it, especially Alma. If I were her and saw my husband frenching another man and having to endure lies like "I'm going fishing with Jack!", I'd be long-suffering as well.
You know, the gay cowboy genre hasn't been explored nearly enough *comment dripping with sarcasm*

I waited until it came out on DVD and watched it. I did not like it that much. The story line was okay...too much time lost between scenes. It just was not as good as I had hoped.

The story its okay, the acting its great, and I dont really think it sucks or its porno like some people were saying when it came out, the problem is that out there still some ignorant people who talks because they just have mouths and that all.

I've seen it. It was an OK movie. A little slow...especially at the beginning but overall not that bad really.

i loved it. it does start slow, but it is a realy awesome movie, it really made me think about the kind of **** the homosexual people have had to live with, i am not saying that i condone the fact that they basically ****** over there wives, but to be seen as 'normal' in that society and time, you had to be married with kids.
that kind of love is something we should all aspire to, the kind that endures through all else

i'm without delay. i've got not considered the movie not as a results of fact of its gay topic yet as a results of fact I in simple terms had no time to observe. Watch it in case you like i don't see something incorrect w/ seeing a movie that tackles this sort of comfortable difficulty. and that i'm valuable you're valuable and safeguard of your sexuality.

Yes. I liked it. It wasn't as great as everyone said it was, but that usually happens when a movie is too hyped up. But it was a good story.
