I just have one question for you. Are the people that are putting you down TRUE friends, because if they're not, then they're just HATING, because you can sing and they can't. Trust me I'm only 16 and I have true friends and haters [which are the people who are your friends when you have something they want part of and if they can't get it, they live up to their name]. My philosophy is "Don't care about who likes your voice or not. There are people out there who KNOW music and know what a good voice sounds like, and there are people who THINK they know music and what a good voice sounds like!!!" To sum it all up, it shouldn't matter what people think of you or your voice. As long as you know in your heart what you want to do, you can do anything. I hope you do go to American Idol and if you do make it tell America your story, don't be ashamed to point out the people who said you wouldn't make it either. I'll vote for you!!! I hope all goes well!!!! SING ON SISTER!!!!!

I don't know. Just make sure you don't embarass yourself. You know, like those people who get cut in the first round. They are just like you, they thought they could sing, but they really suck. If you truly think you could sing, have someone you trust sit down and truly examine your singing. Hopefully, that person will be honest with you. I could go down cliche lane with "Do what your heart tells you!" or "Follow your dreams!" But this is life. What happens, happens. Take it in stride.
Just make sure you don't become another William Hung!!!
Except, you know what, that untalented little bastard is getting all the chicks!! Hhmmp, life is, without a doubt, unfair.

Don't let others discourage you. Try out for American Idol! Find out when they're having tryouts, and make it there. For all your friends know, you could be the next American Idol. Don't let their opinions bring you down.

Try out and go for your dreams. Don't listen to other people. They are just jealous because you probably sing great. Very few people have the talent you have.

Cause its true. I hate and love that shows because of people who can't sing. They ACTUALLY believe that they are good!!! What's up with that?
