ok so i know like everyone hates the US in the mens world cup. you think we should be crazy low in the rankings and we should "keep our noses out of football" but are we at least recognized in womens football/soccer? i think we have an amazing team. did anyone else see us kick irelands ***?

Saying " keep your noses out of football" is stupid and completely goes against the point of something such as the World Cup. Football is something that the entire world has in common, so I dont see why America should be left out.
Yes, America has a very strong women's football team and has won twice, in 1995 and 1999. The American women's team has actually never placed any lower than 3rd in the women's world cup.

Hey! Calm down a little! The thing is, it's not because of soccer that the United States are hated by a lot of people. It's because of other serious issues, such as politics, economy and other sectors that the US make all the effort to be the best (in right or wrong ways...). So, when people see something related to the US lose, fail or similar things, many people celebrate a lot!
P.S.: the women USA soccer team is really strong, no doubt about it.
P.S. 2: in every place, there are people who "kick ireland" (and others) ***!

Well if you think of it the US was the only team that played with Italy at the World Cup and drew.All the other teams that played with Italy lost.So the US must be at least a good team.(despite the fact that it was Italy that scored an own goal in that match the USA drew all the same)

Yes your women's team are strong and competitive. Don't listen too much to people telling you to mind your business or keep your nose out of football. Bottom line is they qualified in the 32 team allocation so have to have some potential. Football may not be important to all Americans, but there are those that enjoy it and that's all good.
