I'm not only going to vote in the election, but with one exception - governor - I'm voting for every Democrat on the ballot. Since I'm in Texas, I'm casting my vote for Kinky Friedman "The Texas Jewboy" for governor - as his campaign slogan says, "Why the hell not?"

yes, I will definitely vote in the upcoming election. I have been a registered voter since I was 18 years old and I have never missed an election. As far as elections being rigged, I think in most cases elections are conducted in a fair manner. Most people have no idea what is involved in setting up and conducting and election. To rig an election would be an enormous undertaking and many people would have participate.

No, I'm not a registered voter. Because if the Supreme Court can flush the moral values of the people down the drain, and tell election officials to stop trying to figure out who really won an election, I don't see much point in voting.

Elections in the US aren't rigged these days, but both parties play games and engage in fraud. Democrats register dead voters and trick the poor into voting for them, and republicans attempt to throw out and challenge voter registrations and use the court system to limit the ability for inner city precincts to cast ballots.

No they are not rigged. What BS. This is just another whiny baby story by inept democrat politicians. They were up to their elbows in dirty votes. How many dead people voted. How many 14 and 15 year old did they register. Even with all this they lost. they need to get over it, and move on. And YES I will vote.

Yes I am going to vote. The elections are not rigged.

It's my duty as a citizen. How can I expect my government to do the things I need and or want if I dont vote. It's my voice and I am going to let it be heard.

Men died in the Revelotionary War so that I could have that voice
(Remember "No taxation without Representation")

Men died in the civil war, and the civil rights movement so that Black people could have that voice.

Women marched for women's sufferage so that Women could have that voice.

American Men died in WWII to help us keep the voice we have and keep it out of the hands of communists. They died to give it back to other countries like England and France that were being over run by Nazi's who didnt want them to have that voice.

American Men and women are dieing in Iraq trying to give that voice to the Iraqi people. The voice taken from them for so long by Sadam Huessien.

American Men and women died in Afganastan defending that voice.

Yet you think to be a coward by not voting. You think by being quiet you are doing something. By not voting you are making it possible for the wrong people to gain power, because then only the easily persuaded and ignorant will vote.

Vote! it's your voice! Write a letter to your congressman! It's your voice! Why would you deny the one gift that so many people in the world (Like China, or Vietnam) would give anything to have. You have a voice, it is cowardly not to use it.

if you dont vote you have no right to complain about the government and how it is ran b/c you didnt let them hear your voice!

I don't think elections are rigged but I do believe the media sways people's vote by making people believe the minority is actually the majority. In other words, he who has the microphone has the power.

I will vote in the next election because many people my age (18-25) don't vote at all and that is why social security is so screwed up! My age group leaves all of the responsibility and voting to the older people (the really old people) who will be recieving their huge social security check because they vote in the people that will give it to them! We as young Americans must fight the old people in the elections!!
