Europe's colonization of the Americans had a profound impact on Europeans in Canada, the US, and Mexico. The Spanish had a profound impact on the heritage of both Mexico and Louisiana. This is reflected in the culture, language, and cooking of both states. Andrew Jackson negotiated the Louisiana purchase after the Civil War to buy Louisiana from Spain.
The Canadians bring much of their culture from the Dutch and Swiss colonies. The Swiss heritage of neutrality is still reflected in Canadian military policy. Many Canadians still speak Dutch as well. Canadians were also unwilling to fight in the middle 1700s as they yielded vast western territories to the US, including the states of Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, and later (in the 1800s) Washington State and Oregon.
The United States was most influenced by the French and the British. The French helped the US in the Revolutionary War. The US brought much of their culture from the British, including the use of firearms, horses, and military uniforms. These were key in the US wars with Spain in the 1800s, when we captured territories in the midwest (Ohio, Kansas, and Nebraska).
Overall, each North American country still reflects there heritage of its original inhabitant countries.
Hope this helps. Please give me 10 points.

Europeans in America had a devastating effect on the population. Our way of life was changed. The Europeans brought guns. Guns changed our way of hunting for food. Some major groups moved. Once we started to move, fights over territory broke out. We who had plenty of food, now didn't have enough.
Missions were introduced, and we were aggressively encouraged to convert to Christianity. Most of us had some form of ancestral worship. No one thought much about immunity to diseases, or that they would kill off the entire bison population.
Things changed and a determined effort was made to suppress our culture. Certain tribes were supplied with guns, so that they could wipe out my neighbors. Laws banned ceremonies, forced our children into the European education system, and tied whole groups to land that could not sustain them. The intention was to deny them of their cultural identity.

Stop cheating yourself out of an education you're lucky to have, and do your own homework. There's a reason you get it, and it's not to torment you. It's so that you actually learn something. Stop being so lazy. It's not even a difficult topic, or asking for a long essay, or giving difficult directions.
