I believe that media has a big influence on how people make day to day decisions. And these reality shows are just getting out of hands, I do think that to some extent TV does control america. I mean who would buy all the crap that they don't need if we didn't have all those ads on the ol idiot box. Anymore my TV watching is the History Channel and premium movie channels. I can't stand watching network TV unless it is the Simpsons other than that no way.

sure. Its all about belief, if you saw on TV that the world was ending on all the channels, people would start to go crazy, Or if on the news that a certain type of headache medicine causes you to die instantly you would probably not take it if you heard the newscast. Tv has so much power its ridicoulous

t.v. only controls those that allow their brains to be controlled.turn the t.v. off and play board games like scrabble or hungry hungry hippo instead.
