is it normal to feel something in my vain?

three weeks ago I had a surgery, at the hospital they were providing me medicine through my vain, I left hospital two weeks ago and I feel like a piece of tube in my vain you notice a lot difference betwen my left and right hand,is there any chance that they may have forgot something in my vain, I don't really know what they use that's why I i;m concern.

It's not likely that they left something in your vein. It could be the vein has a little scar tissue from where an IV had been inserted.

Go back and ask the doctor who did the surgery to check it out for you.

ps: vain = vein (in this case)

Go have this checked out by your doctor....I'm not sure that they
could have left the thin tubing of an iv in your vein...but due to
your symptoms you should have it checked out...stranger things
have happened in hospitals...Good Luck

sometimes tissue can build up at the site of a hole thing ear piercing if you dont let them heal probably and just let them close you feel a semi-hard lump try this : rub it in a circular motion if you can move it then there probably isnt any thing in there the circular motion will also help break it up if its a mass of tissue

um, i felt like that after i had my son.. like the tube from the epidural was still in my hand, but that was only about a week of feeling it... not even... you might want to go get checked out. tommorow

probly..you..have..plebetitis..i..have..it..too..it..is..inflamation..of..the..vein..caused..by.insertion..of..as..iv...not..serious..but..it..does..hurt..the..only..cure..is..time
