If the plug is in tight. If it seems to be getting worse, but might be better when you first turn it on... Yes, you will need a new one.

I recommend an LCD Flat Panel Monitor. I recently got a 19" at NewEgg for $210.. WOW, is it awesome.

Just go to http://www.newegg.com and use the search box. Just type LCD MONITOR and you've got it.

I bought the black HYUNDAI (Image Quest) . But read the REVIEWS.

what do you mean by "colors are differnt?" Does that mean there are coloured striped that go across the screen? In that case, that happened to me too, and that's just because of a bad connection. Check both ends of your monitor cable, and make sure it is securely placed. Also, try bending the cable around a little bit to see if that works. Good luck!

Try reseating the cables, check the options, and try degauss. If that doesnt work, you can usually pick up old monitors at your local thrift stores for like $20

It could be that your monitor was exposed to a magnet. If your monitor has a degaussing coil (it'll be in your monitor settings somewhere), you can use it to fix it. There are other homemade remedies, but they're questionable, or you could take it to a computer store and get it serviced.

verify the relationship the position the video cable plugs into the computer. If it isn't any longer pushed in each and every of ways, you receives humorous colors. try the visual demonstrate unit (demonstrate) on yet another pc, or try yet another demonstrate on your pc. which will inform you no matter if it is the demonstrate or the computer.
