How do I make a deposit in someone elses bank account that lives in another state?

You'll need to the bank of the person that you want to make the deposit in. And then go there with the account number and make a deposit.

look online for the bank, and get a number to call. you can probably do it over the phone, if it is a deposit, the bank wont tell you the account number or balance, they will just do the deposit for you. I deposit money in my kids accounts all the time, I just cant take any out.
