No. I think they should obey our laws too. Why would that be racist? Does someone think only people-of-color break immigration laws? You lost me there. Probably I didn't see another question you posted earlier.
My husband is a naturalized US citizen. He worked very hard to get through that and was very patient. I don't think we should just let anyone come in and break the laws, while honest people have to go through "the process". That would be like throwing the doors open to criminals.

Why aren't you as concerned with the laws that apply to the hundreds of people we kidnapped and brought to a makeshift prison in Cuba?

How about that Law?

It is racist because you are not concerned in the least about laws, you are using the legality side of the argument to somehow justify your dislike of the IDEA of some "illegal alien" stealing some imaginary thing from you. You have never talked to anyone who has come to the US illegally or you'd realize how justified they are in doing so, you have never looked at the facts about things liek border crossings - ow few they actually are- or how these businesses purposely disregard the law, sending for these people to work for them, arranging thier border cross in fact. What about that law? The one that makes hiring these folks illegal? You ignore these laws, because they do not fit into your fear, your predjudice or apprently your entire view of the world.
Its weak, from a place of cowardice, and not based in fact or reality.

The racsm comes into play because you are scapegoating only one type of lawbreaker, a Mexican one, and you think that they are diffrent from the many others, especially the corporate criminals...

Your argument hones in on the fact that you think social discrimination by race is justifiable. That is why it is racist.

It is the age old racist concept that all on one side must unite to destroy the other, or in this case, just disallow the other to have the basic rights you have. Its typical capitalist thinking, bravo...

I'd kinda like everyone who lives in the United States to obey the law, immigrant, visitors, or native-born. Most crimes committed in the United States are committed by American-born people.

On top of that, I'd like people who live here to have a strong work ethic. That's something you're more likely to see among immigrants than among native-born Americans!!!

If they come here illegally they have already broken our laws. Of course if you dont allow any mexican to just walk right in, ur a RACIST!!!! American laws dont apply to illegal alien mexicans, only to americans. They of course are above american laws and to say otherwise makes you a bigot. Everyone knows that.

God bless an immigrant that obeys our law to come here.

An illegal immigrant is a common criminal that does not deserve to be treated with our constitutional rights.

It's not.
Rules, laws, regulations, whatever, they are made for a reason. Usually they are made to be followed and prevent other bigger problems. I wasn't born in the U.S and I completely I agree with you.
