My love at first sight relationship with Beth. She made a mistake and I adamantly broke up with her, not opting for a second chance.

Years went by, when she contacted me and even then, calls to me were months apart. I opted to carry on with my life and did....still....a week didn't go by Beth wasn't on my mind.

Carrying on: I met....dated....and married Mrs. Wizard. Two months before the wedding, I met Beth for one last time. Nothing happened, other than we shared a couple of hours watching TV, talking, catching up on the years spent apart.......and saying 'good-bye', without expressing such.

Beth was terminally ill with a heart condition and died two years after I was married. To this day, I'm the only person outside her family allowed, by her mother, entry into the very private family cemetary......and once or so each year, I stop by discreetly.

My marriage. My husband had a one night stand and the OW got pregnant. I thought I died inside. There are no words to describe that feeling. We are doing much better these days after counseling etc.... but we had to start from square 1. I might add that we are fully involved in the child's life, and I am her 2nd mom and I love her like she's mine. We have her here about 50% of the time, and it's amazing to me how something so devastating and hurtful could have given me one of the most wonderful blessings I've ever known. It's great when the greatest thing you've lost can be found again.

My home, that was paid for. It was a modest three bdrm ranch. It was beautifully landscaped....choke cherry trees that I transplanted years ago, green house, garden area, sandbox and trampoline for the kids, a view of the mountains. I sold it when my second husband and I decided to move out of state. That marriage ended and I moved back to my hometown. That has been my greatest loss so far in my life and although it isn't" loss of life" it was the home my children knew and were growing up in. I miss tending the yard, playing hoops with the kids, privacy........it has been a big loss for me, financially and otherwise...... but I have certainly learned from that lesson.

June 22, 1981. Veteran stadium in l. a., Mayor Tom Bradley (*) in attendance. Swore my Oath od Allegiance to the Flag of the U. S. and became a Citizen. How thrilling!. It changed into actually the desire of a life-time. i changed into 37 on the time. (*) What turned right into a city mayor doing at a Federal ceremony except mooching for votes. How pathetic. thankfully i changed into and am, a resident of Orange County. Enuff suggested.

My grandma. She raised me, took me in when I was 9 months old and no one else wanted me. She was truly a wonderful woman and I lost her way too soon, I was eighteen.
