How do I get good return air flow.....I did just change the filter about an hour or two ago, should that help? The filter was dirty and damp...so I thought that might be the problem.

Lots of good answers already -- check and see if your evaporater drain is free. It is possible that the catch pan is full of water and is being sucked into the system and spalshing onto the filters.

This sounds like you have a return air problem. Check around the house if any of the return air vents are blocked or covered. I am assuming the everything was running OK before this problem accrued. If your return air is OK, I am wondering if it is big enough opening for your return air.
My concern is "moist air". Usually this happens when the system that was installed is to big of a unit. Again I don't know or have enough information weather or not this is a newly installed unit or a problem with the duct that was under sized. If it is not a return air problem, may I suggest to call in a pro. A technician knows all the requirements that your system needs for proper operation. He or she can figure out what is going on quite fast.
Good Luck

Is it brand new? Other than that, the only thing I can think of is the setting might be a little too high. What I mean by that is if you have it set for the coldest. All the condensation from the compressor is blowing out. I bet it is making a puddle of water near the ac unit. Hope this helps.

ITs low on charge, call a service company to check it over or the drain for the condensate is plugged.

Lots of stupid, uninformed answers here!

Your not getting good return air flow.

Have your HVAC service company check it out. I had mine do it pre-season for only $75.00 CDN. Money well spent.
