oh yeah, I'm from Canada, and the song that many people relate to is, "the Hockey Song" (with the famous lyrics: the good old hockey game, it's the best game you can name, and the best game you can name, is the good old hockey game) by Stompin Tom Connors who is equally famous throughout the country for his songs about everyday life. In the province of Quebec, there are many well-known French songs about winter and snow ("Ah que l'hiver", "Mon pays") by a singer named Gilles Vigneault.

Advance Australia Fair is our national anthem however most people know and love 'Waltzing Matilda' better.
He was a rogue who was stealing a jumbuck (sheep) for tucker and got caught down by a billabong.

My country is The USA, our nation anthem is "The Stars Spangled Banner" Written By Frances Scott Key. I would think every one in the US would know "Mary Had A Little Lamb". People here like all kinds of songs and music from all over the world. People her also know many Christmas songs, such as "Rudolf The Red Noised Rain Deer". "Jingle Bells". "Away In A Maneger". Next time you post a question, could you tell us were your from? I would like to hear or know about your country as well.

For the U.S. it is "The Star Spangled Banner". But lots of people prefer "God Bless America" and it is often sung in public events instead of the Star Spangled Banner.

There is one, but I am 100% sure everyone (over 25 I guess) knows it.
It is released naturally at most of the gatherings when the participants reach certain level of alcohol in their blood. It's called "Falcons". I'm translating a bit :

"wine, wine please bring more wine
and bury me when I will die
far away, by my beloved one"

I am from Poland.

here in Nova Scotia, "Farewell the Nova Scotia" is like our provincial anthem. Everyone knows it, even most kids in school. Everyone over the age of 19 knows "Barrett's Privateer's" too... ;-)
