they sound like little kids with big missles one says they started it, then the other says no they started it. Just like kids with no adult supervision to whack em on the *** and tell em to knock it off.

Hezbollah. They started it when they crossed over into Israeli terrority, killed some Israeli soldiers and kidnapped two others. Hezbollah knew exactly what they were doing and they knew what the response would be. And they did it anyway.

Since Lebanon is responsible for controlling Hezbollah (because Hezbollah is basically Lebanese citizens acting from Lebanese territory), Lebanon has some share of the fault.

And since Iran and Syria are sponsoring Hezbollah, they have a major part of the blame.

I have a hard time seeing Israel as having any blame in this whole matter. You could always say that Israel is over-reacting or should have "turned the other cheek" (a very New Testament concept for what is basically an Old Testament kind of country), but neither of those holds water when you consider the history of the situation and the clear provocation that Hezbollah committed. Israel neither started the problem, supported it or funded it. They reacted to it.

i think it was Israel's fault why? because what Hezbollah did was a normal reaction to all the hostile attacks Israel did since 1982 to 2000 and to the Lebanese prisoners in the Israeli prisons who were jailed with no one right reason and most of them did there time in the Israeli prisons

NEITHER....It is the fault of the extremist Islam terrorists....just as most conflicts in the Middle East. Hezballah is a guerilla organization which is using the Lebanese as human shields.

The fault is those of people - be they Israeli, Lebanese, or North American - who are willing to assign fault to only one nation.

The situation is complicated, and should be recognized as so. It's that simplistic "me right, you wrong, me good, you evil" thinking that gets people into such horrific places.
