A friend of mine started recently pitching sidearm style. Hes says it feels better and is very accurate. Does this stlye of pitching hurt yuor arm more than the conventional style of pitching and how do you really tell what kind of pitcher you are?

No one should pitch sidearm. There is a reason all sidearm pitchers in MLB are relief pitchers. It's very poor mechanics that cause injuries in the elbow, shoulder, back, neck and legs. It's just a poor way of trying to pitch. It should be a last ditch effort to resurrect a career, not something you do when you are young. Please, for the sake of your baseball life, don't ever pitch or try to pitch sidearm.

It wont immediately, but as he pitches more and more it will F*** his elbow up very bad and he could end up not being able to pitch anymore... I definitely wouldn't encourage sidearm pitching.
