Yep, I just got home from hiking my first and second 14,000 foot mountains in the Rockies. Got up early and headed to Gray's and Torries Peaks. We ended up hiking 12 miles because we couldn't drive to the trail head. It took 8 1/2 hours and I'm footsore and weary, but what an awesome day.

Living in this beautiful, wooded part of Texas as I do, I can't help but say yes to your question. But then, being newly and early retired AND living in such a raw natural area, how could I feel anything else, in or outside. Thank you for putting me back in touch with the blessings God has given me. God Bless you.

yes, i do! whether its a walk around my rural town, a jog through the countryside, or a stroll through Halifax, the outdoors always seems to soothe me. There's always that tranquility present in a country setting, and you feel like you could be the only one alive... and even in a city, you get a wonderful feeling of anonymity, like you're watching the world spin around you. I love it! Either way, your stress just seems to go away.

Well, at the moment I feel like I'm going to die every time I walk outside...
Then again, it is 114 degrees outside.

Much rather be outside. Fresh air and sunshine. The dogs chasing each other.

sure do, until some soccer mom jabbering on her cell phone makes a right on right as I am running through the intersection with the walk sign in my favor and nearly flattens me on her minivan grill.
This is why i like to run trails. i can deal with snakes crossing my path...
