It is most likely a heat rash...called prickly heat. it is most likely affecting his whole back becasue he was probably in a seat and had a sweaty back! If it were something more major it would be affecting other areas and there would be other symptoms such as fever or irratibility.

Well Its Prolly Cuz Da Heat My Cusin's Baby Goes Through The Same Thing With Her Daughter But Its The Heat......U Need Ur Baby To Be In A Nice Cool Room Not Too Cold But Cool And Rub Some Aveeno On The Rash To Keep It From Spreading And Itchin Alot.....Okay Take Care!

Picked up my niece from day and she had the same thing as well and it definitely could be heat rash, if powder doesn't work in a day or two then have him check out.

honestly it does sound like heat rash. my kids get it all the time and so do i and there is nothing that you can do for it except wait it out. but you could try having him sit in the tub for awhile ( lukewarm water nothing hotter) and see if that helps at all. a doctor will only tell you to let it go away on its own and don't put anything on it.

it could be heat rash and i would suggest bathing him put some powder on it and then see what happens. you might try telling the daycare no more outside until it starts cooling off a little hello heat exaustion

yes, it could be a heat rash but since he is a baby cakes I probably would run him to the ER. It could be an allergic reaction to something. You never know with the wee ones.

well mine gets those heat rashes easy. when he was like 2 months I saw it for the first time and i thought it was a reaction. My doctor told me I could use hydrocortisone creme, just rub it in real good

it could be an allergic reaction if you have liguid benadryl id give him a teaspoon and if it goes away it was if not its heat rash also it wont hurt to give him the benadryl just in case it doesnt hurt worst case hell get sleepy
