As far as I know, it is impossible to do this on a Mac. NRG files are created with Nero, and Nero does not support the Mac platform/file system.
What you need to do is find a Windows box (a PC running Windows) and then open the NRG files with a program like Magic ISO. You can download that here:

Once you have opened the NRG file in MagicISO, you can then convert it to and save it as an ISO file.
You can mount ISO files on your Mac as virtual drives.
If you are not planning to use the files anywhere else but on your Mac, I would suggest you convert the NRG files to DMG instead of into ISO. You can use MagicISO for this as well.
