It doesn't have to. If you really like the area and aren't in the mood to relocate, consider starting your own business. There are many opportunities awaiting someone with the drive and determination to take the bull by the horns. With a little hard work and elbow grease you can become your own boss, with your own business, doing something you like rather than constantly looking for the right career.

I know, used to live there. There are a lot of college grads from Ohio State University who are in competition for jobs there.
