I bought an antiquarian history book for $100 that I recently had appraised for $12,000 and the appraiser offered me $10,000 for it. The best part was that I bought it because it contains biographies of some of my ancestors and not as an investment. Also, I have sold a lot of my old junk for a lot more than I ever thought I could get for it. eBay has been a great tool for helping my family and me get rid of a lot of crap as we prepare to move to another state. May God bless and keep you.

i used to use ebay for buying pound puppies, and such. They were always so very cheap. So my boyfriend Just bought a monitor off ebay..the second purchase he has EVER bought off that site. Now it was a 21 inch flat screen that was only $65 bucks which included shipping, but when it got to where we worked, it was totally damaged. The whole front was out of place and you couldn't even turn it on. The power button was pushed all the way in. Worst part, it was only a 19 inch. So he sent the wrong monitor to the wrong person. Gah!!! I told him not to shop on ebay, that it was the devil, but he didn't believe me!! Now he might...yah he's getting his $$ back, but it's just the monitor he wants. *shrug* Ebay sucks at time.

i imagine you've encountered an unreasonable shopper. they're only scaring you into giving a reimbursement. no matter if the motor vehicle does no longer artwork, it does no longer recommend you should provide them the money decrease back. they must be responsible to analyze the motor vehicle out earlier procuring. however in case you promised a money decrease back certain coverage on the ebay ad, then you really might want to ought to adhere to the contract. in case you probably did not make that declare, then you really can only ignore them and enable them attempt to sue you. FYI, I honestly have a employer taken to court docket for similar circumstances numerous cases yet we win everytime. It changed into glaring from the starting up that the consumers were unreasonable. i imagine it truly is yet another honestly a mode of circumstances, so do not difficulty. only clarify to them that you probably did get the motor vehicle checked, and under no circumstances did you declare a reimbursement if the motor vehicle did not artwork.

Selling a eBay is expensive when nobody is buying. I recommend auction sites that do not charge a posting fee.
