Personally I don't have a prob, with any race who wants to start up a group that promotes recognition of its people. However, what I have a problem with, is people who cannot understand why something like NAACP is a necessary thing for black people. Outside of the Jewish people who are constantly promoting themselves & their culture, we are basically the two most prominent groups with a history of slavery & were almost obliterated. Doesn't it stand to reason that we would try to instill some pride in our children about themselves & our culture? Not to offend anyone here, but the white race need not fear any of these things because they have always been here without risk of disappearing, and do not have this sort of background to have to go back & find themselves. Not for their children nor great-grand children. So if having this is considered reverse racism, then I accept it whole-heartedly.

It's not racist to start an organization that champions advancing any group or persons, regardless of race, gender, religion or sexual orientation.
What makes a group racist is the actions and the creed that they live their lives on- if you have a group that thinks it is inherently better than anyone else, then you have a racist organization.
The NAACP was not founded to discriminate against Caucasian people, it was formed to help empower a group of persons who didn't have a voice in the main society. It gave that group of people (those who would want to utilize them) opportunities to get better educations, jobs and housing. There is nothing racist about that.
The NAACP doesn't run into areas and preach hate or bigotry. They are just there to serve. They have no special uniform that they wear out of cowardice to hide their identities while the create havoc in areas they are not welcome.
If you are looking for groups or organizations maybe to join that are specifically for Caucasian Americans, you may want to check with the state department for listings, or research online. Just don't fall into traps from groups that may pose as being helpful or want to empower that race, but actually want to turn you around and make you full of hate.
Good luck with your searching!

When the NAACP was founded, there was need for an anti-white racist org because of segragation and the like. However, i feel that the NAACP racist or not should be tolerated. There is a white equivalent of the NAACP, namely the KKK and neo-facist/nazi orginazation. They happen to be the very extreme "white pride orgs" similar to the Black Panthers of the 60's and early 70's.

You have a point, considering this is the 21st century. Unfortunately, some politically incorrect Caucasians belong to Neo-Nazi or KKK type groups. If there were a good Caucasian group, helping people get jobs, educations, housing, etc. there would probably not be a problem with that. White people are often just as poor or rejected as Black people.

Well, cause in this case...many view NAACP and organization that is promoting the progress of one race without demoting another. Many view the organizations that promote the cause of caucasians to be attempting to demote other races in their cause. So society does not look kindly upon these groups. I do agree that NAACP is very closely approaching reverse racism. However, again many view that statement as demoting the black race. Best thing to do is to Ignore any organization that attempted to put one race on a pedestal and start looking at people as people, not a color. Just because I dislike a black person does not mean I dislike him/her because of that color. I just do not like him/her as a person.

sure, racism has had a domino effect. look at it this variety. whilst somebody abuses a canines as a pup, the canines takes the abuse. despite if, the older the canines gets, the extra offended the canines gets, and finally the canines bites you for hitting it. this is the comparable form of thought with this. African individuals have been humiliated and hated upon for see you later that they see electing Barack Obama the suited slap in the face to white people. To me, this is the only answer. ninety% of white people do no longer take place and all vote for one candidate, inspite of occasion or values, in basic terms to vote for a white candidate. the comparable element is genuine with Barack Obama. The Clinton's did good issues for the black community, the NAACP, and there's a reason invoice exchange into called the "First Black President." despite if, instead of being grateful for the failings the two Clinton's did for the African American community, they resoundingly voted for Obama. Now, this is a guy with exceedingly much no political journey, a terrible balloting checklist, and who's without doubt one among the main uptight ****** to ever run for workplace. From undesirable to now, taking 4 trip trips a year particular does not look too average or American to me.

there already ARE caucasian equivalents...the IVY LEAGUE, the Mormon Church, NASCAR, US Senate...just joking...if you would contact the NAACP, study the founding , history , and mission statement of the organisation, you might gain a better understanding of what they are about...as to 'caucasian equivalents', it seems that every 'pro white' organisation that has come along has had as their motivation something other than advancing the condition of whites, but the subjugation and sometimes the extermination of all non-whites...david duke may fool some folks, but he's nothing more than a Klansman in a suit

Because there is a double standard out there. You cannot cast an African-American in a bad light in any situation - just watch commercials - it is always the white male who is being made fun of, or is the underling of a black or a woman.

The NAACP is not anti. It is anti inequality. The NAACP is comprised of more races than African-Americans. Crack a book or utilize your search engine.
