A friend of mine is marrying a guy from the middle east, he is desparate to come to England. He is from Syria, and asked her to come all the way there for the cerimony she is looking at tickets, to go there. It was a phone proposal, they met in England, they didnt even have a relationship, then immigration asked him to leave because visa running out. He left then started texting her, then he fed her speel about love then the propsal came and she excepted. How can I tell her it is a trick and that he wants a passport.

if she insists on marrying him, ask her to get him to do all kinds of checks , healthchecks, do a background check on him without him knowing!
God knows what kind of man he is!
Not that we are doubtful but we need to protect ourselves against possible fraudy people and their mean intentions!
He's just after sex and passport !

Just tell her what you feel.
Tell her that she is risking kidnap and good health ( how can she be sure that he is clean?) if she wants to marry him without knowing him as a person?
He may be abusive in real ?!?!!
We never know if we truly like someone unless we interact with them in person and over a long period of time!
So tell her not to be a fool!

All you can do is be a good friend and try and explain it too her. When your in love nothing will get in your way and you will do what you want and not listen to the good advice from friends. She might go along but all you can do is support her as if it all goes pare shaped she will need a good friend.

just be brutally honest with her, u MUST make her see sense. people from those sort of countries will do anything to get here and stay here. she needs to wake up and fast. is she thick or something? show her my answer if it will help make her see sense. u need to pop her balloon! tell her to tell the man she will think about marriage in 5 years time, i bet he soon goes and tries to get with somone else. he just wants to get in the country, u must stop her from going ahead with this.

Are you sure it's a trick? Possibly his feelings are genuine and he wants to come to England just so he can be with her.

it really hard for you cause she will think you not feelling happy for her, of which its the opposite, you're trying to protect her and enlighten her to the truth that he might be only using her to get back to England. thats we've got this thing called "LOVE IS BLIND" she is so in love that she looses general thinking, try bieng there for her thou, eventually she'll see that you right.
