I went horseback riding with my first husband on our second date. The horse started galloping, and I fell off, cut my head open on a rock, and ended up with nine stitches in the emergency room. The next day, he came over with a bunch of daisies and a can of chicken soup...he was afraid I wouldn't ever want to see him again! I cried, it was so sweet. He was so sweet.
He was killed by a drunk driver 20 years ago this October. I never talk about this to anyone, but your question reminded me how simple a romantic gesture can be.

I don't know if it qualifies as romantic so much as maybe sweet. For our Anniversary. my husband got me a piggy bank full of quarters. I have several piggy banks around the house and am always trying to fill them . He said that for 6 years he has seen me try and try to fill a piggy bank so he went ahead and filled one for me. I thought it was sweet the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me anyway!

Once a guy wrote me a poem, Not just any old poem though. The first word of the first line started with I...then the second word of the second line started with L..third word of third line started with O....Until it read out I LOVE YOU...it was so romantic!!

When this guy I was dating stood out in the rain with me and he wouldn't stop kissing me even though we were getting soaked and were standing in the middle of a restaurant parking lot! It was awesome!

Dedicated a song to me, it was so sweet!!! I thought it was perfect. He told me that whenever he listened to that song he thought about me. And i just melted....lol.
