WHIP - Walk & Hits Innings Pitched
this stat is for pitchers, if a pitchers Whip is 1.50 that means he gives up 1.5 hits/walks per inning
Slug% - means if a guy hits a home run in a game with four at bats and no other hits his SLUG % would be 1.000 which is really good it goes like this
Single - 1.000
Double - 2.000
Triple - 3.000
Home Run 4.000

Slugging "Percentage" is total bases divded by at bats.
Basically, (single + double + triple + hr) / ABs

slug% = total bases divided by atbats ...therfore the most % is 4000 (home run each atbat)
