Oh my, yes. Burping comes from too much gas coming up. Hiccups come from too much air going down. Feels like a collosion in your chest.

yes it does i have hiccups at least twice a day then they give me heartburn

LOL! I call these hicca-boo's and they can sometimes be a bit uncomfortable and somewhat embarrassing!

My friend did that once and immediately threw up. I don't think it was PAINFUL, though.
